Hi, I'm David Irely ...
I created this website to share what I learned about tinea versicolor and share my experience on how I was able to get rid of my ugly, unsightly skin rashes using common, readily available products that you can find in any grocery store or on Amazon. It is my goal to help you get rid of tinea versicolor by sharing with you what I have learned during my research and experiences.
Below is a quick introduction of my experience with tinea versicolor, but if you rather skip that and go directly to my step by step instructions that worked for me, you can do so by clicking here ....
I lived with tinea versicolor for years. Despite trying expensive medications prescribed by my family doctor and later a dermatologist, this ugly and embarrassing rash would diminish slightly but always return. Living with tinea was never painful, or really that itchy, but it did make me self conscious and embarrassed to take my shirt off in public when going to a water park, beach or pool.
So in my quest to get rid of tinea versicolor for good (or at least control it), I started experimenting with numerous over the counter remedies and found a couple of easy to use home remedies that actually worked for me and I think, will probably work for you. They not only helped me get rid of the ugly tinea rashes, but I even figured out a simple maintenance routine to prevent it from coming back.
From my experience and others like me, I found noticeable results in just 7-10 days, but that it took about 3-4 months to fully resolve and get rid of the rash. I had a few stubborn spots that took an extra month or two to resolve, but it felt great to finally get rid of tinea versicolor.
I do want to emphasize that there is NO CURE, but through periodic preventative maintenance sessions I found that you can keep it from returning as long as you are watchful and do not allow it to go untreated in those early days of returning.
Here is a picture of my back, just before I started treating it. (I also had patches on my chest, arms, and stomach)
I got rid of tinea versicolor using, easy to find, over the counter products. No magic formulas. No secret potions. Just everyday things I found at my local grocery store, or Amazon.
I am not a doctor, and I can't guarantee 100% success, however, this process worked for me and for many others who have tried it. If you are unsure of what you should do, or if you are unsure you have tinea versicolor, you should consult your physician.
